SCOPE OF WORK:

3,300 SQ. FT.

RIVER NORTH RESIDENCE

Our firm was recommended to this discerning client through an architect we previously worked with. Our goal was a full renovation to both update and modify the layout of the space to serve the homeowner’s vision for open concept living. We relocated the kitchen to create a needed additional bedroom on the first floor. The engendered trust enabled our team to work with the client on all aspects of his home. In addition to the renovation that touched nearly every space, including the bathrooms, kitchen, staircase, flooring, and ceiling design; our team specified furnishings, accessories and art throughout the space.

This vertical duplex enabled the design of a stone tile & millwork focal point that spans the two-story height. This design integrated lighting, TV/media, and calming fire feature. The adjacent wall boasts a one of a kind art titled “Torpedo” by Tyler Shields which dominates in scale at  5’ by 9’. The photograph is surrounded by a custom frame we designed to showcase the work and seamlessly integrate into the surrounding architecture. A modern floating tread staircase was designed to provide an open view from the moment you enter the residence. The final statement of this home is the apollo digital fine art system which ascends the stairs. The client enjoys using his proprietary mobile app to seamlessly change the artwork at will for a different mood in the home.
